"OTJ2: The Missing 8" Enters 78th Venice International Film Festival's Main Section!

After the huge success of the first On The Job film starring veteran actor Joel Torre and Gerald Anderson, it seemed fitting that a sequel be put up.

However, based on the Facebook post of Director Erik Matti, creating the sequel was a whole different challenge- having completed production in 4 years, starting post-production in late 2019 and with cinemas closed.

Yet last July 26, Director Erik shared the news that “On The Job 2: The Missing 8” is set to premiere in one of the world’s prestigious film festival, the 78th Venice International Film Festival. The sequel has been selected as one of the 21 entries and is the only Asian film in the Main Competition.

In addition to this, the On The Job Series is set to be released worldwide as an HBO Asia Originals.

Both the sequel and series are sound mixed at Wildsound Studios by Senior Audio Engineer Lamberto “Bebet” Casas and Assistant Audio Engineer Aian Caro.
