OUR ROOTS
Founded in 2003 by Albert Michael Idioma, Narra Studios (formerly AMI Wildsound) began as a small live sound production group operating from the Idioma family’s apartment in Mandaluyong. Over the years, they evolved from modest beginnings into a premier audio post-production studio in the Philippines. Recognizing a need for ADR and post-production services in 2005, the team converted a bedroom into their first mixing room, then expanded to a professional setup in Makati by 2007.
In 2012, the company split into two units: Livesound Corp. for live production and Wildsound Inc. for post-production, later moving to the Sampaguita Pictures Compound in Quezon City through a partnership with APT Entertainment.
Wildsound collaborated with the Walter Storyk Design Group to build the first certified Dolby Atmos studio in the Philippines. They further grew their services to include video post-production, such as color grading and online editing, establishing a reputation for adhering to global standards.
Wildsound rebranded as Narra Post-Production Studios in 2021 and moved to Tomas Morato, Quezon City, to emphasize their comprehensive video post-production offerings and connect more deeply with their Filipino roots. Inspired by the Narra tree, symbolizing both rootedness and growth, Narra Studios aims to showcase Filipino talent and creativity internationally.
