THE TREK (South Africa)
Dust. Wind. And something older than the land itself.
The Trek is a western-horror set in the 1800s, where a family’s desperate journey across the unforgiving Kalahari Desert quickly becomes a harrowing fight for survival.
Global Recognition
Fresh off its World Premiere, The Trek has made significant waves on the international festival circuit. It captured the Jury’s Special Award at Fantasporto, earned a feature in Variety, and was selected as the Closing Night Gala screening at the Joburg Film Festival.
The Narra Workflow: Bridging the Kalahari and Manila
To build the gritty, isolating atmosphere of the 1800s African frontier, the production needed an audio team capable of delivering world-class tension and detail. Narra delivered the complete audio post-production for this project entirely remotely from the Philippines to South Africa. By handling the Sound Design, Foley, and Final Re-recording Mix, we demonstrated our capacity for seamless, cross-continental collaboration on high-stakes, award-winning international features.

A GOOD FORTUNE (Singapore)
One of our recent international projects is A Good Fortune, a Singaporean feature film directed by Jason Lee, one of Narra’s close collaborators. It’s about the story of an influencer who escapes to Malaysia after being scammed, and eventually reconnects with an old friend. Together, they enter a baking competition and slowly rediscover what good fortune really means.
Workflow
Narra worked on the film’s post-production, from sound to mastering. We added foley to capture the small, everyday details, fine-tuned dialogue for clarity and emotion, and built soundscapes that bring warmth and energy to every scene. On the visual side, we completed online editing and DCP mastering, ensuring the film was polished and cinema-ready.
